LISA LANDIS hosts the Afternoon Drive 3-7pm on FM 90.3 WJTL. She is also the creator & host of The Kids Cookie Break heard Saturday mornings 9-noon on WJTL and Wednesday nights 7-8p on Jump 105.3 FM Pittsburgh. KCB aims to educate, empower and entertain kids of all ages. Lisa is also a commercial voice over artist for WGAL-TV. When she's not working, or zipping around in the KCB Cookie Car, you will find Lisa hanging with her husband John (and sometimes 23-year-old son Alex) watching movies (or British Television), volunteering at church and Historic Rockford, visiting favorite shops and restaurants in downtown Lancaster, gardening, cooking, and/or working on restoring a late 19th century mill.

Who loves when a good intention is followed through and we see the result of our efforts? We all do! Today we hear from movie director Alex Kendrick and his passion to intentionally share the gospel with everyone , especially the kids in our circle of influence. Alex feels intentionally sharing the hope of Jesus is so important for children and he'll us give some practical ways to do that. Ready to hear more about being intentional? Let's go....
ALEX KENDRICK has dedicated his life to following Jesus Christ and making His truth and love known among the nations. After serving in church ministry for 20 years, he now writes, speaks, and produces Christian films with his brothers Stephen and Shannon. Alex directed and co-wrote the movies OVERCOMER, WAR ROOM, COURAGEOUS, FIREPROOF, FACING THE GIANTS, and FLYWHEEL. In 2021, the Kendrick Brothers have two films releasing: COURAGEOUS Legacy Edition, a remastered film with added scenes to mark the film’s 10th Anniversary; and Kendrick Brothers’ SHOW ME THE FATHER, their first feature-length documentary for which he served as an executive producer and writer.
Alex co-wrote the New York Times bestselling books The Love Dare, The Resolution for Men, and The Battle Plan for Prayer. He has been interviewed on “Fox & Friends,” CNN, and ABC World News Tonight. Alex and his wife, Christina, live in Albany, Ga. with their six children and are active members at Sherwood Church.

STEPHANIE SMITH is Bible2School’s Director of Operations, keeping everything running smoothly so more children can hear about Jesus! She is a former teacher and leads Bible2School’s Curriculum Team in developing lessons that are Christ-centered, age appropriate, and fun!
Steph is married to her husband, Jeff, and together they have three daughters who are all Bible2School alumni. The family loves to camp and travel together. Steph is also a musician, playing at church and with the Lancaster Marimba Ensemble in addition to teaching percussion at the local high school.

DON MACLAFFERTY is a disciple of Jesus Christ, a husband to April for 31 years, a dad to Jason, Julie and Jessica and Founder/President of In Discipleship.
In 2002, God moved the hearts of Don and April to launch Kids In Discipleship—a ministry to call parents back to discipling their own kids to Christ and to find their God-given dream in serving others. Today this ministry is named In Discipleship and disciples young and old to have a daily revival with Jesus in His Word and to disciple the new generations through a partnership of the home, school, and church. Don has launched this ministry in 34 countries.

TOM LUTTMANN has served as Executive Director of Bible Visuals International since 2010. He is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada and maintains a love of the history and culture of the Maritimes. Before coming to BVI, Tom served in Christian education as a teacher and textbook author. Besides serving with BVI, Tom is a Good News Club teacher with CEF and serves on the board of Manheim Township Bible2School. He and his wife Betsy have five children and reside in Neffsville, Pennsylvania.

How God is Working Through Praying Moms with Sally Burke

As president of Moms In Prayer International, Sally Burke leads moms around the world in praying for their children and their schools. She's sharing some simple yet powerful tips on prayer and sharing stories about answered prayers today!

SALLY BURKE serves as the President of Moms in Prayer International. Compelled by joy and the hope God gave as she prayed with other for her children and their schools, Sally began to reach out and share with other moms-first as a Moms in Prayer group leader, then area coordinator for her hometown of Temecula, California, and later as regional coordinator for Riverside County. In 2008, Sally became the Director of Field Ministry at Moms in Prayer headquarters, overseeing ministry expansion worldwide. Today, in her role as President of Moms in prayer International, her vision remains unchanged, that more children and schools and moms might experience God's life-changing answers to prayer. Sally is also an international speaker, teacher and author of _Raise Them Up, Start with Praise_ and _Unshaken_.
As a child growing up in Florida, Sally was fascinated with the space program and began her career as a space shuttle engineer. After her marriage and the birth of two children, Sally and her husband came to faith in Christ, and Moms in Prayer soon became a top priority. She and her husband, Ed, now have frou grown children, a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren Sally keeps fit by running and lifting weights, and in her leisure time, you'll find her curled up with a good book or enjoying the company of friends.

JONATHAN PITTS is an author, speaker, ministry executive and pastor at Church of the City in Franklin, TN. For more than fifteen years, Jonathan has served in executive leadership roles in Christian media, entertainment, and the Church including Executive Pastor at Church of the City, Executive Director at Dr. Tony Evans' The Urban Alternative, manager to recording artist Anthony Evans , Jr., and current President of For Girls Like you Ministries, a ministry to tween girls and their parents that includes a magazine, books, and other resources. Jonathan is also a spokesperson for Christian Parenting and a Chief Strategist for Durham and Company.
Jonathan recently authored _My Wynter Season: Seeing God's Faithfulness in the Shadow of Grief_, a memoir that recaps his journey seeing God's kindness through the loss of his late wife, Wynter Pitts. Jonathan co-founded For Girls Like You and co-authored two books with Wynter before her sudden passing.
The father of four beautiful daughters, Alena (18), Kaitlyn (15), Camryn and Olivia (12), Jonathan is newly married to Peta Sergeant, and he continues to see God's kindness unfolding in his life.
