Together we will explore why it is so important to be intentional about sharing God‘s Word with the next generation of children...in the car, at the dinner table, or on rainy day adventures. Episode 101 - Member Highlight: Meet a Military Mom!
Tuesday Jul 25, 2023
Tuesday Jul 25, 2023
Heidi Weidler, a Bible2School site Director, shares her journey as a military mom. (SEO)
Heidi was not surprised when her son showed interest in enlisting in the military — in fact, many signs pointed to this future career starting in early childhood! Following a 6 month wilderness season of waiting, Heidi describes how God was faithful to her son and completely assured him that he was called to the special forces of the Navy. You’ll be blessed to hear Heidi’s heart on this topic, and encouraged by this story that brings God all the glory.
HEIDI WEIDLER is a wife, mom of 3, and former teacher who enjoys reading, baking, and watching game shows. Whatever season of life: homeschooling, substituting in the public schools, or employed by B2S, educating children and pointing them to Christ is a forever passion. The challenges along the way have increased her prayer life and convictions and continue to remind her of this verse: "Teach me to number my days aright so that I may gain a heart of wisdom" Psalm 90:12.

Episode 100 - How To Handle “Frenemies” w/Dannah Gresh
Tuesday Jul 18, 2023
Tuesday Jul 18, 2023
Jesus was a good friend - he stayed in relationships even when they were difficult.
Our guest today, Dannah Gresh, teaches us how to imitate Jesus in our friendships. Founder of the mom and tween girl ministry called TrueGirl, Dannah noticed that when her daughter was 9, she was already feeling that pressure to grow up too soon - to digest topics that weren’t age appropriate. She realized she was not alone in this feeling, and from this birthed a ministry that now encourages moms and girls globally to grow closer to Jesus together. Is it possible to raise children to love Jesus, imitate him and be a good friend to others even when it’s tough? The answer is yes, and you’ll hear some great stories to help you navigate the “how” from Dannah.
Ready to redefine friendship according to Scripture? Let’s go!
DANNAH GRESH is the founder of True Girl, cohost of Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth's Revive Our Hearts podcast, and a bestselling author. She has written over twenty-eight books, including a Bible study series for tween girls and their moms. She and her husband Bob live on a hobby farm in central Pennsylvania.

Episode 99 - Praying Scripture over the Children in your Life
Tuesday Jul 11, 2023
Tuesday Jul 11, 2023
If you could ask God to do anything for your family, what would it be?
This is the question our guest today, Jodie Berndt, surveyed families on before publishing her first book in 2001. Jodie took the top 20 topics, went to the Word to see what God had to say about them, and shaped the table of contents for her book, Praying the Scriptures for Your Children. When Jodie started praying God's Word back to Him, she began seeing amazing answers.
Praying scripture for and with children - it fills them with the truth that they have value and worth in God's eyes. He loves them for who they are! When the bigger questions come along, they can have that anchor and rootedness to know WHO they are and WHOSE they are in Christ. This will be their greatest defense against the conforming patterns of this world.
Ready to hear examples of praying scripture boldly over the children in your life? Let's go!
JODIE BERNDT is the author of the Praying the Scriptures book series, including the bestselling Praying the Scriptures for Your Children. A speaker and Bible teacher, Jodie is a repeat guest on programs like Focus on the Family, the 700 Club, and a variety of popular podcasts, and she has
been a contributing writer for Fox News, Club31Women, Ann Voskamp’s daily devotional, and Proverbs 31 Ministries.
Jodie writes about prayer and other family topics in her email newsletter and on Instagram. To download the collection of free resources (including printable prayer cards and calendars), visit JodieBerndt.com.
Jodie and her husband, Robbie, have four adult children and live in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Episode 94 - The Importance of Teaching Kids a Biblical Worldview
Tuesday Jun 06, 2023
Tuesday Jun 06, 2023
Do the kids in your life have a clear view of the world as God sees it, or do they need some gentle coaching to be shaped and molded into God’s truth? This is where our conversation turns to sunglasses…
Kori & Lee talk about three different types of sunglass lenses, and why it’s so important for children to see the world through God’s holy lens, brought into focus by the Bible! We want it to be second nature for our kids to process life through a Biblical worldview because this will guide them to truth which in turn guides them to hope - and we know that Jesus is the hope of the world! We aren’t always going to be there to guide them, so we want to be sure they have on their Biblical worldview sunglasses…
Ready to hear the 3 types of protective lenses kids need in order to see clearly? Let’s go…

Episode 92 - Stewarding Grief Well With Our Kids, Part I
Tuesday May 23, 2023
Tuesday May 23, 2023
Our guest today, Donna Nicholson Stief, is coming to us with a topic not often discussed - the topic of grief. Did you know that you CAN heal from all the many layers of grief? To quote Donna, “Grief is not a problem to be solved - it’s not something that needs fixed. It’s the natural, God-given response to love and loss. It’s a journey, and we need to understand that journey and learn how to navigate it.” Unprocessed grief swings the door wide open for Satan to get a foothold - but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Donna will share her story of tragic loss and talk about why it’s so important to process and discuss it. You’ll be inspired by this conversation of love, loss, and deep joy.
Ready to lean in to the advice Donna shares on stewarding grief with your children? Let’s go!
