Anita candidly shares about her teenage pregnancy as a preacher’s daughter and the difficult choice to place her daughter for adoption. Although she never had the privilege to see or hold her child, Anita never stopped yearning to know her daughter, even as she married and had four more children. Through a file of letters and the help of her adoption agency, Anita finally met her first-born 21 years later. God used Anita’s own desire to know her child to impress upon her how much He wants to know His children-us! With that knowledge, JoyShop Ministries was born, which is now thriving and impacting lives every day!
Anita is the author of The File: A Mother and Child’s Life-Changing Reunion. Her writing and speaking have been featured in places like Proverbs 31 Ministries, Focus on the Family, Moms in Prayer International, and the True Woman Movement. Lee has a heart for the global church, and has recently joined Live Global, a team who supports, trains and equips believers worldwide. It sounds like a lot, but really, Lee loves Jesus. She Believes He transforms lives, His Word is powerful and effective, and that prayer matters more than we could imagine.
Lee lives with her handsome, hardworking husband, Mike, at Grace Adventures, a Christian Camp and Training Center in West Michigan. They have four great kids who make her need Jesus. And she says, “That’s a good thing.”

WALT MUELLER is the founder and President of the Center for Parent/Youth Understanding (CPYU), a non-profit organization with the mission to work with churches, schools, and community organizations to build stronger relationships between young people and those charged with helping them grow into healthy adulthood.
Walt has been working with young people and families for over 40 years. He has appeared on numerous media outlets internationally to discuss teenagers and their world. He writes on youth culture and family issues and is the author of ten books, including his newest book, A Student’s Guide to Navigating Culture, is a regular contributor to a variety of magazines and journals, and is a blogger. Walt’s commentary and analysis on youth culture is heard on 800 radio stations across North America on CPYU’s daily radio program, Youth Culture Today and is the host of the “Youth Culture Matters” podcast.
Walt and his wife Lisa live in Elizabethtown, PA and they have four grown children and six grandchildren.
Walt wants people to know that his greatest joys have come as a dad. He is not an expert on any of these issues, but rather sees himself as a fellow struggler with other parents and grandparents who are endeavoring to understand the world of kids in order to provide solid guidance and direction in the midst of a very confusing world.

ALEX KENDRICK has dedicated his life to following Jesus Christ and making His truth and love known among the nations. After serving in church ministry for 20 years, he now writes, speaks, and produces Christian films with his brothers Stephen and Shannon. Alex directed and co-wrote the movies OVERCOMER, WAR ROOM, COURAGEOUS, FIREPROOF, FACING THE GIANTS, and FLYWHEEL. In 2021, the Kendrick Brothers released two films: COURAGEOUS Legacy Edition, a remastered film with added scenes to mark the film’s 10th Anniversary; and Kendrick Brothers’ SHOW ME THE FATHER, their first feature-length documentary for which he served as an executive producer and writer. In 2022, they will release their newest film, LIFEMARK, starring Kirk Cameron. KCB aims to educate, empower and entertain kids of all ages. Lisa is also a commercial voice over artist for WGAL-TV. When she's not working, or zipping around in the KCB Cookie Car, you will find Lisa hanging with her husband John (and sometimes 23-year-old son Alex) watching movies (or British Television), volunteering at church and Historic Rockford, visiting favorite shops and restaurants in downtown Lancaster, gardening, cooking, and/or working on restoring a late 19th century mill.
